Pastor Joel Tullberg

Church: 627-3913 • joeltullberg@comcast.net

In the spring of 2011 I was privilege by receiving a call to be a pastor at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Ever since I was three years old I have dreamed of being a full time preacher.  Because of the Lord and Shepherd of the Hills congregation I was blessed with the realization of that dream. I trained for many years to be prepared to serve the Lord full time. I attended Luther Preparatory High School in Watertown, WI and then graduated from Martin Luther College in 2007.  I attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI from 2007 to 2011.

I grew up in Milwaukee, WI.  My father is a pastor at Siloah Lutheran Church, which is where I went to gradeschool.  Being from Wisconsin I am a huge Green Bay Packers fan, as well as a Milwaukee Brewers fan. Thankfully many of my friends grew up in Michigan so I know how to handle all the jokes about Wisconsinites. But all jokes aside, I really feel that God has placed me in the best place in the world.  Lansing, MI is my home and I am happy to serve this community.
